This week, we’re excited to highlight four recently registered federal trademarks that exemplify how smart brand strategy protects growing businesses. Just registered on October 14, 2025, two companies have secured valuable intellectual property assets that position them for long-term success.
Beau Monde Builders: A Tale of Two Marks
Florida-based Beau Monde Builders, Inc. has secured two complementary service marks—one textual and one highly stylized—covering custom home construction, construction project management, and real estate site selection.

The first mark consists of the company name “BEAU MONDE BUILDERS” in standard characters, translating from French to “Beautiful World Builders.” The second registration (displayed above) features an ornate graphic design: a building with seven pillars and “BMB” on the roof, flanked by palm trees and lions (each with a paw resting on a ball), anchoring the prestigious “BEAU MONDE BUILDERS” wordmark below.
What makes this strategy powerful: By registering both a word mark and a design mark, Beau Monde has created layered protection. The word mark protects the core brand identity across all visual presentations, while the distinctive graphic design protects against specific design knockoffs. The company can now defend against competitors using similar branding in any form. Having used these marks in commerce since September 2015, Beau Monde has earned the strength that comes with a decade of brand recognition.
Memoramedia Inc.: Capturing the Collectibles Market
Delaware corporation Memoramedia Inc. has also registered two marks in International Class 41 (entertainment services), both covering production and distribution of content focused on collectibles, memorabilia, trading cards, historical artifacts, and auctions across television, internet, podcasts, and webcasts.

Their first mark is the simple text “cllctv,” while the second is a stylized version of “cllct”—a clever play on the word “collect” with only the right portion of the final “t” displayed. Both marks are tied to the company’s robust multimedia content platform, with first use beginning in December 2024.
What makes this strategy powerful: Memoramedia has secured protection for both a descriptive brand identifier and a distinctive stylized mark that captures the spirit of their business. This dual registration approach protects them across different contexts—traditional branding materials and more creative, design-forward implementations. The marks cover multiple delivery platforms and formats, providing comprehensive protection for their entertainment empire.
Why Multi-Mark Strategies Matter
Both companies understand a crucial principle of modern trademark strategy: one mark is good, but multiple complementary marks create fortress-like protection. Here’s why:
- Protection across contexts: A word mark and design mark together cover more potential infringement scenarios.
- Brand flexibility: Companies can enforce different marks in different contexts without limiting enforcement options.
- Comprehensive coverage: Design marks protect against sophisticated copycat designs, while word marks prevent even non-visual imitation.
- Long-term asset value: Multiple marks increase the overall valuation of a company’s intellectual property portfolio.
